This attractant helps beekeepers capture outgoing swarms. The format consists of a wipe that comes in a sachet. The wipe is impregnated with a mixture of essential plant oils that mimic the queen's pheromones, thus attracting swarms.
It is easy to use, effective for up to 15 days and reusable. Box of 10 sachets.
To activate the attractant, the sachet can be punctured or torn open and hung inside an unoccupied hive, hood or other suitable container, or it can be rubbed on the surface of the container.
This swarm attractant will help attract swarms on the move, and those temporarily located in trees and other hard-to-reach places, to a capacha or box with the swarm attractant inside.
